Guidelines
Learn about the format and style requirements for your submission.
1. Basic Requirements
- Abstracts must be written in English.
- Extended abstracts should not exceed four pages including references.
- Pages must be numbered.
- Single-spaced formatting throughout.
2. Title and Author Information
- Title: 14 pt, with first letter of each word capitalized.
- Author names: 11 pt Times New Roman.
- Include ORCID numbers for all authors.
- Full institutional affiliations.
3. Abstract and Keywords
- Abstract: Maximum 200 words.
- 10 pt Times New Roman font.
- Single-spaced format.
- Keywords: 3-5 relevant terms.
4. Main Text Format
- 11 pt Times New Roman font.
- Single-spaced throughout.
- No paragraph indentation.
- Section titles in bold with first letters capitalized.
Reference Guidelines
- Vancouver style citation format.
- Numbered citations in the text.
- Complete reference list at the end.
- Follow standard Vancouver formatting.
Tables and Figures
- Maximum one table allowed.
- Maximum one figure allowed.
- Must be referenced in the text.
- Clear labels and captions required.
Presentation Duration
- Each participant is allocated 10 minutes for their presentation.
- Please prepare your presentation according to this time frame.
- All presentations must be prepared using the official template provided on our website.
Program and Sessions
- The symposium program and session list are available on our website.
- Please check your presentation time and session carefully.
Accommodation
- Free accommodation will be provided in KYK dormitories for student participants.
- Male students: Arifiye Safitürk KYK Dormitory
- Female students: Campus Sebahattin Zaim KYK Dormitory
- Participants who wish to use this option must inform us by July 10th, 1:00 PM.
- Other participants can stay in hotels around Sakarya University.
- At Univa Sakarya, a special rate of 450 TL per person (including breakfast) is available.
- Our organization has no other accommodation agreements.
Gala Dinner Transportation
- Participants who indicated attendance for the gala dinner will have shuttle service departing from Sakarya University Congress Center at 18:15.
- Please let us know if you would like to use the shuttle service.
Zoom Participation
- Online participants can join their sessions through the Zoom links provided in the attached program.
- Please connect and be ready 10 minutes before your scheduled presentation time.
- If you face any issues, contact us before your session begins.
